The work emphasises the psychic structure of today’s borders and asks who is granted the freedom to write the future. Muhheacannituck, the Lenape name for the Hudson River, means “the water that flows two ways.” CONCURRENT takes the river’s shifting currents as a metaphor exploring code-switching, cultural belonging, resilience, and moving between worlds and identities.
